 I'm alive

I flourish and survive

Amid thorny manacled hives

I'm trapped,

Yet

Your hand endured the stings, and 

Bleeded rays of sunshine;

Your breath evaporated my grine,

And brined the buzzing bees of minds.

So,

I smiled;

I screamed;

I breathed.

I'm alive.
